It’s official!!! The Christmas music has begun. I called my sister at work this morning to announce that the music was on, and she proceeded to entertain me with what she was listening to. Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas album – a old favorite we grew up to. I LOVE HER!!!
As I checked my weather link on my yahoo, there was actually a link to already see what the forecast will be for Thanksgiving. However, they didn’t stop there… there is also a link to see what the weather will be like at the nearby malls for shopping the next day (which I always do with my mother-in-law).
This year we’ll be in Sacramento for Thanksgiving. There’s somthing about being there where it’s usually cool and crisp, leaves everywhere, and the smell of fireplaces burning. Last night we walked by a home that was using their fireplace, and just as I inhaled and thought of how great it smelled, Sarah asks, “What’s that stinky smell?” I guess she’s just not old enough to appreciate it.
