We had a couple of great laughs tonight so I thought I’d share. For the first laugh I have to tell an old story. When our house was being worked on, we moved in with my family. (This was 5 years ago.) My parents have a dog (who we got around Christmas time) named Jingles. She’s currently 16 years old. One day she just kept barking and barking, and my sweet sister, Amanda, got fed up with it and almost growled as she screamed, “JINGLES – SHUT UP!” I’m laughing out loud as I type this, because Brandon and I love to reminisce this sweet memory. Anyway, tonight in the car with the family, Sarah got irritated with her sisters who were telling her to repeat a word. She growl/screamed, “I already said that!” Brandon got us all laughing when he mentioned that she sounded just like Amanda. ( Something you probably had to have been there to enjoy the humor of, I’m sure.)

As we were approaching the house, the girls’ continued to tease and joke with eachother, pushing eachothers’ buttons. This is when we usually hear, “Mom, Abigail’s blah blah blah,” or, “Dad, Esther’s blah blah blah.” When they get irritated with eachother like that, Brandon likes to shock them by telling them to smack “her” or punch “her”, then they get the giggles and realize it’s nothing to really be mad about. So, tonight, Brandon told Esther to tell Abigail to “shut her pie hole”. :-O Abigail gasped, Esther giggled, and Sarah said, “I’m gonna tell Abigail to shut her apple pie!” HILARIOUS! We were rolling for quite a while.
