Help!

I’ve exercised and I can’t get up! Literally! I just sat down at the computer and I don’t think I’ll be able to stand up when I’m done. It’s really sad when you sit down to use the bathroom and audibly as well as involuntarily moan or groan. (Right, Jenny?) After a couple of months off I went back on Tuesday to my body conditioning class. Needless to say I got my butt whipped! Which is probably a good thing, but I’m still feelin’ it. I went back to the gym today for some cardio on the cross trainer thinking it’d loosen everything up. I think my muscles are angry at my assumption.  I’m off to take a warm bath and soak a little before I have to pick up the girls from school.  OUCH!

Wednesday – Grandpa’s Spaghetti, garlic bread

Thursday – Dodger game for mom and dad – girls will have leftovers

Friday – BBQ boneless ribs, potatoes, fruit salad

Back to school

So, it’s just me and Sarah again. Back to the ‘ol routine – I’m on the computer and she’s watchin’ the Disney channel and eating pirate’s booty. It’s so quiet. I just sat and filled up my calendar with school stuff already. Soccer officially started last night as well. In a couple of weeks our Wednesday night church programs will begin and then we will officially be busy not to mention Sarah’s speech class that will be starting up soon! This all means that I officially need to get back on weight watchers and hit the gym. The girls both got the teachers we were “hoping” for. I’m looking forward to another great school year – I love Yukon!

Disneyhot

Nothin’ says lovin’ like takin’ your kids to Disneyland when its 100 degrees outside!    Yeah, I’d like to think I rock as a mom.  hehe  We went in bathing suits and skirts with ample water and our water mister from Jimmy (little shout out) to keep us cool.  Saw some characters, rode a few rides (mostly to stay cool – especially Small World), and played in the water.  Enjoyed some ice cream and waited for the HSM2 parade, then headed back home.  Daddy and Abigail are now at her first soccer team meeting for this season.  She’ll be getting her uniform today.  How exciting.  Esther’s meeting is tomorrow, then school starts on Thursday.  We’re just sucking the life out of what’s left of the summer.

            

New Camera

 I’ve been “playing” with a camera all weekend.  It’s been very fun, and now it’s becoming mine.  Thanks to the Ho family for “needing” an upgrade, we’re upgrading as well.  I’ve also been “playing” with new photo/slideshow programs.  For now, you can click on the link to see some pictures I’ve taken.    I’m so happy!
