How do you spell relief?

18 Dec

For this last week, I spell it 3-4-3-C-o-r-a-l-C-i-r-c-l-e.  That’s the new address of our church.  Last week was a rough one for my family, but especially for my husband, who has had a big part in the building project.  Yesterday we celebrated our first official service in our new building and it was so awesome!  Very emotional, but just so awesome.  One of my favorite moments was singing up on that stage and seeing people’s reactions as they entered the auditorium.  Some would be smiling and filled with excitement, while others would put their hand over their mouth in disbelief and begin to cry.  Brandon thanked the team of men who have worked so hard to make our new building possible, and the next song we sang was “It’s All About You”.  The first few lines of the song are… “It’s all about You, Jesus.  All this is for You, for Your glory and Your fame…”  And it was/is.  That’s what that building is for.  Yep, a tingly moment.  And I’m very proud of my husband!!!!

Last night we had our worship team Christmas party, and Jenny and I were able to attend with our other two favorite people (our husbands) and no children!  Jenny and I had lots of fun and excitement making slushies 😉  and playing with the chocolate fountain.  Mmmmm.

So, now – it’s the countdown to Christmas.  The girls have school through Thursday, with “winter” concerts, and cookie baking/decorating parties all throughout the week.  I have a mess of a house to clean and some serious exercise and diet to do so that I can weigh in before Christmas.  (again – chocolate fountain)  I also have baking, no Christmas cards done or even contemplated, not one present wrapped, and not done shopping either.  Hmmmm, it never works out how I plan it.

Better get to work!
