Little Women

17 Jan
In just 9 days, I will be performing in Little Women.

There is so much I want to explain and tell you about regarding this show and this cast, but I’ll spare you for now.  😉

The purpose of this all adult cast/show put on by Haven Academy is to raise funds for a home being built to assist women who are attempting to leave the human trafficking trade.

I must say – I’ve never read the book or seen the movie, mostly in part to knowing that someone dies and it seemed a bit boring, however the musical version of this story is anything but!  The music is amazing and the show all together is witty and has its funny parts.  I think that has a lot to do with the caliber of actors and actresses in the show.  I AM WAY OUT OF MY LEAGUE!  Three of our actors/actresses are professional and belong to the Actor’s Equity Association.  The rest of them are making this their career in one way or another, and I’m just a mom of four getting a once in a lifetime opportunity.  Rehearsals started on January 2nd.  Yep, only a few weeks of rehearsals to put this show together, but it’s a MUST SEE!  You will not want to miss this one.
